Our 3D simulation software enables companies to design, simulate, and analyze production systems virtually validating concepts before making costly investments. Built on Microsoft technologies, our platform runs on Azure cloud and Windows 11, and we continuously evolve to meet the needs of modern manufacturing.

Our software is trusted by over 2400 pioneers worldwide, from small manufacturers to global automotive corporations. With headquarters in Espoo, Finland, and offices in the US, Germany, and Japan, we are truly international.

The role and the team

We’re looking for an Engineering Lead to establish and guide a brand‑new team: Product Infra. This team plays a critical role in strengthening the infrastructure behind our desktop products, ensuring they are scalable, maintainable, and ready to support a growing and diverse customer base.

You’ll lead a team of 5–8 engineers, working at the intersection of product development DevOps, and Quality Assurance. While the DevOps team owns cloud environments and pipelines, and QA ensures product delivery, your focus will be on product‑specific infrastructure — from customization and deployment to build systems and test frameworks.

A key part of your mission will be to modernize and refactor our platform customization and deployment architecture, enabling us to support an increasing number of platform customers efficiently and reliably.

You can be based in Espoo or Tampere, working closely with talented colleagues across locations and disciplines.

Your impact

As an Engineering Lead, you’ll create an environment where both people and products can thrive. You’ll bring clarity to complex topics, keep work flowing, and help the team make confident, well‑reasoned decisions.

Your leadership will directly influence how our desktop products are built, customized, tested, and delivered — making a real impact on our customers’ success and our company’s ability to scale.

In this role you will:
  • Lead and mentor the Product Infra team, with regular 1:1s focused on wellbeing, growth, and professional development
  • Driving improvements across:
    • Product customization and variation for desktop products
    • Product deployment, including distribution and software update mechanisms
    • Desktop build systems, improving speed, modularity, and reliability
    • Dependency management, keeping dependencies organized and up to date and enabling SBOM reporting
    • Test infrastructure, enhancing our custom testing solutions for the 3D simulation platform
  • Collaborate closely with DevOps and Quality Assurance on cross‑team dependencies
  • Facilitate team decision‑making and maintaining momentum toward shared goals
  • Provide technical and quality oversight through design reviews and testing strategies
  • Champion continuous improvement in processes, tooling, and product quality

The skills you will bring

  • Proven experience leading software development teams

  • Strong hands‑on experience with .NET (C#)

  • Familiarity with C++ is a plus

  • Solid understanding of build pipelines, dependency management, and test automation strategies

  • Experience with or exposure to product customization processes

  • Excellent communication, coaching, and people‑leadership skills

  • Ability to balance stakeholder needs and align multiple teams toward a shared goal

  • A growth mindset and genuine enthusiasm for empowering others

Our tech stack includes:

  • Languages: .NET (C#), C++

  • Build & Deployment: Azure DevOps Pipelines, .NET solutions & projects, NuGet, vcpkg

  • Tools: Windows, Visual Studio, Advanced Installer

Perks of joining us

  • Competitive salary.
  • Opportunity to make a significant impact on our platform.
  • Flexible working times and remote work options.
  • Supportive and inclusive culture with low hierarchy.
  • Low hierarchy and flexible and relaxed organizational culture
  • Comprehensive benefits: learning platforms, occupational health care, insurance, lunch and sports/culture vouchers.
